I had the opportunity to facilitate a belt-making workshop with Brokenhead Ojibway Nation through Jordan’s Principle. Participants were guided through the fundamentals of belt-making, from layout and dyeing to finishing techniques, each working at their own pace and building confidence in the process.

Workshops like this are about more than just creating a piece - they’re about connection, learning and taking pride in something made by hand.
